Homeless outreach

Our homeless outreach program includes feeding the homeless through our Street Eats program, providing clothing through our Community Closet program, as well as pantry and hygiene items for those in the community who may be disconnected and alienated from mainstream services and support

Street Eats

By helping the hungry we see more than our share of the down-and-out. We find them in cities, in suburbs, under bridges, in parks, and on vacant industrial property. They live in tents, lean-tos, plywood and tarp contraptions that defy definition. Our goal is to reduce their hunger through food distribution.

Food Pantry

We invite charitable contributions to our food pantry from generous people to help feed those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger.

Food Rescue

Our Food Rescue (Fort Wayne Food Rescue) ministry aims to glean and recover edible food that would otherwise go to waste from places such as restaurants, grocery stores, produce markets, or dining facilities and distributing it to local programs like The Rescue Mission, Charis House, Gateway Woods and similar ventures.

COMMUNITY CLOSET

We provide a wide array of personal care and clothing items as a means for our friends who live on the street to regain and maintain dignity. And as a necessity for those who, in finding their way to an independent and productive life, are in school, employed, or in the process of achieving self-sufficiency

Eco-care

We are on the threshold of ecological disaster created by humans. Our Eco-Care program is our way of combating this problem locally by planting trees throughout our community.
